The Riga Marathon takes place in Riga, Latvia, and offers a fast and scenic course through the Baltic capital. The race starts in the city center and takes runners along wide boulevards and through historic districts, including areas near the Old Town (Vecrīga). The course crosses the Daugava River, providing open views of the skyline, before continuing through modern neighborhoods and riverside sections. Runners pass a mix of historic architecture and green spaces, with long straight roads that make pacing consistent. The route is designed to be flat and spectator-friendly, with strong crowd support throughout and a central finish area.
