In Newport

  • Getting Around

Newport is compact, but the main coastal highway can get congested on busy days; walking or biking between the Bayfront and Nye Beach is often easier.

  • Spectator Spots

The Bayfront and Nye Beach are Newport's most walkable districts, with waterfront views; spectators can settle there and catch runners if the course comes through.

  • Recovery and Character

Recover with a gentle walk on Nye Beach or along the Bayfront; Newport is a working fishing town with a friendly, unpretentious maritime feel.
