The race
The Lucerne Marathon offers a spectacular running experience in the heart of Switzerland, surrounded by mountains and the beautiful waters of Lake Lucerne. The course takes runners through the charming old town with its medieval bridges and colorful buildings before continuing along scenic lakeside roads. Participants enjoy stunning views of the surrounding Alpine landscape throughout the race. The finish takes place near the city center, creating an exciting atmosphere for runners and spectators. Combining breathtaking scenery, historic architecture, and excellent organization, the Lucerne Marathon is widely considered one of the most picturesque marathons in Europe.
