The Lima Marathon takes place along the Pacific coast in Peru’s capital, offering a flat and fast course with ocean views throughout much of the race. Starting in the Miraflores district, runners follow wide avenues and coastal roads that overlook the cliffs and beaches of Lima. The route passes through key districts such as San Isidro and Barranco, combining modern cityscapes with seaside scenery. With long straight sections and minimal elevation changes, the course is well suited for steady pacing and personal best attempts. The coastal breeze can play a role, but overall conditions are favorable for performance.
