The Jack & Jill’s Downhill Marathon & Half-Marathon offers runners a uniquely thrilling experience set against the spectacular scenery of the Pacific Northwest. Known for its gently sloping downhill course along the historic Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail, this marathon is ideal for achieving personal bests, qualifying for major marathons, or simply enjoying a scenic run. As a Boston Qualifier for the marathon, Jack & Jill draws runners from across the country looking to set records and create unforgettable memories. One of the highlights of the Jack & Jill Marathon is the iconic Snoqualmie Tunnel. Stretching over two miles, this historic tunnel gives marathon runners a one-of-a-kind experience as they start their journey through its cool, dark passage. Emerging from the tunnel, runners are greeted by beautiful mountain views, towering evergreens, and lush greenery. The trail’s natural shade and cool mountain air help keep runners comfortable, even in the summer months, adding to the appeal of the course.
