About
The race
The Dublin City Council Dublin City Half Marathon runs through the heart of Dublin and its iconic northside neighbourhoods, organised by the Dublin Marathon Group. Starting on O'Connell Street, participants take on the 21.1km route through the North Side, out towards Raheny and along the Clontarf seafront, before finishing in the North East Inner-City. The course passes through a host of northside landmarks including the GPO, the Garden of Remembrance, Belvedere College, Mountjoy Square, Croke Park, the Luke Kelly Bridge, Tolka Park, DCU, Griffith Avenue, Parnell Park, Killester, Raheny, St. Anne's Park and the Clontarf seafront, before returning via the IFSC and the Five Lamps.
