The race
The Bruges Marathon takes runners through the picturesque streets and countryside of one of Belgium’s most beautiful cities. Beginning in the historic center of Bruges, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the course winds past medieval buildings, canals, and charming cobblestone streets before heading into the peaceful Flemish countryside. The route eventually returns to the city’s iconic squares and historic landmarks.
