The race
The Belgrade Marathon is Serbia’s most prestigious road running event, known for its vibrant atmosphere and historical significance as it traverses the streets of the capital. The course is celebrated for its scenic route through both the "Old" and "New" parts of Belgrade. In 2027, the event will mark its 40th anniversary and will be particularly historic as it hosts the European Running Championships simultaneously, attracting elite athletes and recreational runners from across the globe.
