Ways in

There are 6 ways into the Medio Maratón Valencia, each with what it involves and, where we have it, the organizer's own detail.

  1. 01

    First come, first served

Entry opens on a set date and closes when the field is full.

At this race: Those not selected in the ballot can join the official waiting list; unregistered spots after the 12-day registration period are allocated to the waiting list in order of registration.

  2. 02

    Ballot

Apply while the ballot is open. Places are then drawn at random from everyone who applied, and those drawn are invited to pay the entry fee.

At this race: Bibs purchased during the loyalty period and those obtained through the ballot allow a bib ownership transfer starting on February 1.

  3. 03

    Qualifying time

Run a time under the race's standard for your age and gender within the qualifying window, then apply with proof. At popular races, meeting the time doesn't always guarantee a place.

At this race: If you have a SuperHalfs SuperVoucher, you do not need to enter the lottery and can register at any time during 2026 using your SuperVoucher.

  4. 04

    Local residents

Places kept for people who live in the city or region.

At this race: Participants in the 2025 Valencia Half Marathon have a 4-day preferential loyalty period from 30 October to 3 November 2026 before the ballot opens.

  5. 05

    Tour operator package

Buy a travel package (usually hotel plus race entry) from an official tour operator. It costs more than entering yourself, but the place is guaranteed.

At this race: Obtain one of the bibs available through the official agencies or tour operators authorized by the event.

  6. 06

    Other

    Another route the organizer offers.

At this race: Waitlist for places not taken by ballot winners; assigned in order of registration.
