Along the route, runners pass several notable landmarks including the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the National Palace of Culture, Vasil Levski National Stadium, and green areas such as Borisova Gradina Park. The course is run entirely on paved city roads and features a mostly flat profile with a few gentle elevation changes typical of Sofia’s wide boulevards, allowing runners to maintain a steady pace throughout the race.
