The race
The Sendai International Half Marathon is a premier urban race held annually in Miyagi Prefecture. Running through the beautiful City of Trees, the course features vibrant green foliage and wide, well maintained streets. Starting and finishing at the Koshin Rubber Athlete Park Sendai, this highly popular event attracts top elite runners from across the country as well as thousands of passionate citizen runners. With its mostly flat profile, excellent organization, and massive crowd support featuring traditional performances, it offers a fantastic spring racing experience in one of Japan's most picturesque cities.
