Luxembourg Night

The Luxembourg Night Marathon takes place in Luxembourg City and is known for its unique evening start and atmospheric course through the illuminated capital. The race begins at Luxexpo in Kirchberg and quickly takes runners through the modern European district before heading toward the historic city center. The course crosses the city’s valleys and plateaus, passing landmarks such as the Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge, the old town, and the Grund district. Runners experience a mix of wide avenues, tunnels, and narrow historic streets, with frequent changes in elevation as the route moves between different levels of the city. The final kilometers return to Kirchberg, finishing indoors at Luxexpo with a distinctive finish-line experience. Due to its constant ups and downs, the course is considered challenging.
