About
The race
The Wales Full & Half Marathon is taking steps into its annual event, and has grown to be very popular among the UK’s runners. The event has become a stage for people to achieve not only personal goals, but as a platform to raise money for charity, or take the first step into endurance running. With a red carpet finish, a pack finish line with plenty of support, as well as being Wales’ only fully closed road route, you won’t want to miss it. You can find out a bit more using the quick links below. Fast becoming one of the biggest events not only in the Long Course Weekend, but in Wales this is a must for any amateur and professional athlete. You can choose from either the 13.1 mile half marathon, or the 26.2 mile full distance marathon. Over 60% of the runners who have taken part in this marathon have come away with a PB, which is a testament to how fast the course is. In Tenby
Getting Around
Tenby is compact and walkable, and the closed roads mean driving is difficult; spectators should walk to the course.
Spectator Spots
The finish line and town center offer good views; the harbor and town walls also overlook parts of the route.
Recovering Afterwards
Take a gentle walk along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path or relax on one of Tenby's beaches to ease sore legs.
