Ljubljana

The Ljubljana Marathon takes place in Slovenia’s capital and follows a looped course through the city center and surrounding districts. The race starts and finishes in central Ljubljana, passing along wide urban roads, residential areas, and green spaces, with sections that showcase the city’s compact and accessible layout. The course is known for being relatively flat, with long straight segments that allow for steady pacing. Elevation remains consistent throughout, generally around 290–310 meters above sea level, with only gentle undulations and no sustained climbs. The profile is smooth and even, making it suitable for runners aiming for a controlled and consistent effort.
