How to get into the Inca Trail Marathon 2027.

Ways in

There are 3 ways into the Inca Trail Marathon, each with what it involves and, where we have it, the organizer's own detail.

1. 01

   Ballot

   Apply while the ballot is open. Places are then drawn at random from everyone who applied, and those drawn are invited to pay the entry fee.

   At this race: Entries are drawn at random from everyone who applies.

2. 02

   Tour operator package

   Buy a travel package (usually hotel plus race entry) from an official tour operator. It costs more than entering yourself, but the place is guaranteed.

   At this race: Book the Official 26.2 Inca Trail Marathon & Incathon Tour through Erik’s Adventures; a US$500 deposit is required, with the balance due on or before 7/1/27.

3. 03

   Other

   Another route the organizer offers.

   At this race: If your tour includes a spot on the Inca Trail to participate in either race, the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable from 2027-05-01 onward
