About
The race
The Start/Finish area of the Ice Age Trail races is located at the Nordic Trailhead in the Southern Unit of the Kettle Moraine Forest. While the course tops numerous hills, none of them are extremely long or overly steep in nature, but they are incessant. The terrain consists of mostly single track dirt, rocky and tree rooted trail that runs through pinewoods, hardwood forests, and rolling prairie lands, a little bit of everything. The course will be marked with YELLOW ground flags.

Rural Race-Day Travel
La Grange and the Kettle Moraine area are car-dependent; drive or carpool, and expect limited ride-share coverage.
Spectator Spots
Spectators should expect a trail-race setup: the trailhead area is the main gathering point, with brief views possible at forest road crossings.
Low-Key Recovery
After the race, keep recovery low-key with a gentle walk in Kettle Moraine State Forest or a quiet meal in a nearby town.
