In Chickamauga

  • Race-Day Traffic

Chickamauga is a small town; race-day traffic near the national park will be heavy. Carpool or arrive early, as parking fills quickly around the battlefield.

  • Spectator Spots

Spectators can watch from the park's main roads and visitor center area; the course stays within the battlefield, so pick a spot and stay put rather than chasing runners.

  • Post-Race Recovery

After the race, recover with a walk through the battlefield or a meal in nearby Chattanooga. The area's history and quiet streets make for a low-key recovery.
