   The course takes you from Oakland to San Francisco on the Bay Bridge, the only half marathon to do so. Focus on the experience.

• Race Day Transit

  Race day will bring traffic and bridge closures, so use public transit or ride-sharing to reach the start. Avoid driving across the Bay Bridge.

• Spectator Views

  Spectators can watch from the Oakland start/finish area or along the shoreline. The bridge itself is closed to foot traffic.

• Post-Race Oakland

  After the race, take a recovery walk around Lake Merritt, a local landmark. Oakland's diverse neighborhoods and waterfront offer relaxed post-race exploring.
