The Australian Outback Marathon takes place in Australia’s Red Centre near the iconic landmarks of Uluru and Kata Tjuta. The course runs across desert tracks, red dirt roads and bush trails surrounded by vast open landscapes. Runners experience the remote beauty of the Australian Outback with views of Uluru, sand dunes and expansive desert plains. The route includes sections of graded dirt roads, bush tracks and soft sandy terrain typical of the region.
